Be better tomorrow than today. In life, work, mind, and spirit.
I didn’t start this blog solely because I have a lot of opinions on a wide ranging of topics. I started this blog because I am passionate about those topics. I started this blog because I love sharing ideas and thoughts with people, and this is my forum. And I started this blog because I want to help you, in any way I can.
And the most important thing about me: I’m a Dad to Luca, my pride and joy.
Now that you know a little bit about me, here’s some more:
Johnny Russo Personal Summary
Positive and upbeat by nature, I view challenges as opportunities, in life and in work. A believer that combining the law of attraction, continuous learning, and a strong work ethic will net you positive results.
I have an affection for red wine, espresso, great coffee, and travel. A Montreal-born sports fans who loves the following teams: New Jersey Devils, San Francisco 49ers, Houston Astros, and Juventus. Yes, I know, strange but very, very true. Workout enthusiast who pushes to be better in everything. Little known fact about me: I represented Canada at the World Ball Hockey Championships on 4 occasions, winning gold twice.
I married my true love, Jasmine, in 2011. The story of how we met could be an interesting novel, or at the very least, a solid blog post, or perhaps even a good conversation over coffee or wine. Check out the video and image below to see my beautiful wife.
I am one of the few guys that actually loves to shop, clothes and watches being my faves (and yes, I now do most of my shopping online).
I have an obsession with knowledge and reading. My 2 favourite authors and digital thinkers are Mitch Joel and Seth Godin. I also love writing. I guess I’m a natural born journalist who fell in love with Digital Marketing and Ecommerce. But writing about myself is not easy. So I will end the personal summary on that note. At least the written part.
Below are some personal highlights.
Becoming a Dad, which was the best feeling of my life. When Luca entered this world, my heard became full instantly. I knew this was a big part of my purpose on this Earth.
Getting down on one knee and proposing to my love, Jasmine Pollice…and also capturing it on video thanks for my awesome friend (and cameraman) Reza
Marrying the love of my life, Jasmine Pollice, on September 10, 2011 (9-10-11).
Representing Team Canada on 4 occasions at the World Ball Hockey Championships. Pictured below was a game in the Czech Republic.
Welcoming Diego into our household. He is a little ball of joy, energy, and teenage testosterone.
Alright, enough about me. Check out my blog for more reading.
